After the original by Antonio Canova for the Rezzonico Monument, St Peters, Rome.
The Benaglia reproduction is one of the centrepieces of the Great Marble Collection of Chatsworth Huse, Derbyshire.
Made from dry cast white Carrara marble, over 90% of the finished sculpture is natural marble.
Authentic to the eye, smooth and cold to the touch, with fine crisp detail, exactly like the original.
15 cm Tall this sculpture will hold a token amount of ashes in a small chamber cast into the marble.
Access through the base and secured with a screw lid.
Proudly made by hand in Staffordshire, Great Britain.
